My Mission

My mission is to help you find hope and relief, to help you gain control over your life, and to feel content and at peace.

Imagine what it would feel like to feel at peace with yourself, to be able to enjoy the present moment instead of being stuck in the past or future, to have a sense of certainty about your decisions and your path in life.

While life will always have twists and turns, you can face those challenges using your strengths to become more resilient and confident. And you don’t have to do it alone.

I am not here to tell you what to do but will help you make things more manageable and gain confidence while you take charge of your life. You can learn to trust yourself.

My Values

I am passionate in the work that I do and love supporting people through some of their most challenging times. I will not only listen to your concerns but assist you to build the skills to manage them.

I believe in empowering clients and will help you identify the best parts of yourself as you discover and build on your existing strengths as a unique individual, while learning skills and tools that allow for confidence, life balance, and overall well-being and peace of mind.

I believe it is important to build the best things in life as well as treat the most challenging. I will work collaboratively with you toward your goals and sit with you while you process some strong emotions, gain insight into your concerns, and challenge old ways of thinking or behaving that aren’t serving you anymore.

My Approach

Your therapy is tailored to your unique needs and goals, taking into consideration your specific issues, concerns and lived experiences. I will meet you where you are at and go at a pace that is comfortable for you.

I am curious, compassionate, and engaged, and I provide a safe, confidential, and judgement-free environment. I offer both comfort and challenge. You will feel supported, heard, understood, and valued. At the same time, I will be direct, honest, and push you even if it’s difficult and uncomfortable.

My respect for you is genuine, and I believe that therapy can also be fun; I welcome laughter in our sessions. I am most heavily influenced by person-centered, solution-focused, cognitive behavioural, and trauma-informed approaches.
