About Me

I’ve always had a passion for psychology and wanting to know how the mind works and why people do the things they do.  I went to university right after high school and received my BAs in Psychology and French but my life took a different path and I ended up in the corporate world.  It wasn’t until I moved to Medicine Hat in 2010 that I decided to follow my true passion and pursue my Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology.  I took what some might call the long way - full  of detours and plot twists - to get to fulfill my dream of being a psychologist and helping others.

I believe that my life experiences, my commitment to my own personal and professional growth, as well my desire to help others, have helped shape me into an ethical therapist who is compassionate, attentive, and open-minded.  My respect for you is genuine, and I believe that therapy can also be fun; I welcome laughter in our sessions.

Each client is unique and presents new experiences; we are all continuously growing and evolving, and I learn from you as much as you might learn from me.  I genuinely care about your peace of mind, and I thank you for letting me be a part of your journey.
